L'Ombroso

L’Ombroso, on the first floor and to the left, opposite L’Alcova, is a lovely airy apartment with high white arched ceilings. This part of the house dates from the 18th century.

The apartment has an open-plan living-room kitchen/dining area with shuttered glass French doors leading onto a small balcony where two people can sit outside for a drink.

The kitchen is very well equipped with a Smeg cooker with electric fan oven and gas hobs, fridge, small freezer and washing machine. The balcony has a washing line above the street. For family dining there is a circular table with four chairs. There is a daybed which can be used both as a sofa and as an extra single bed, plus two wicker armchairs, a large TV with video/DVD player and a wide selection of English films. There is also a music centre for radio, CDs and cassettes, plus an Ipod dock so guests can bring their own music.

There is a separate double bedroom with plenty of built-in wardrobes, plus ensuite shower room with WC, bidet and basin. Also in the bedroom is a curtained free-standing slipper bath. There is a second TV in the bedroom and this also has a video player so guests can lie in bed or in the bath and watch a film!

This apartment is ideal for a couple but is also very safe for a small child or baby. We can supply a cot if needed, and as well as the single daybed in the living room area, we can supply a folding z-bed or futon sleepover mattress for another child. The flat is also suitable for a couple and a friend, though please note that the only access to the shower room/WC is via the double bedroom.
